Video or iPod, apparently not used

An article published in yahoo news, stated that a study carried out by Nielsen reveled, owners of video iPods used the video function less than 2%. This is a smaller number than I would have ever expected, but there are many questions, which aren’t answer by Nielsen.
What’s the age group of the people involved in the study?
How would they rate their computer skills?
Do they purchase content from the iTunes store? If so, is it video, audio or both?
Do they watch video content on their computer?
Where do they use your iPod? Running, bike riding, on the train, in the car?
The big question that isn’t aked, is why don’t you use it for video?
Is it screen size? Is it not a required function for your usage?

I have owned a few iPods, but never a video iPod. My biggest reason for this is the screen. My preference for screen ratio is widescreen (16:9), something the iPod doesn’t has. When looking at a portable media device I purchased the PSP for its screen ratio.

Content for the iPod is also an issue.
Do people want to pay for it?
How much are people willing to pay?
What time length would people watch on the iPod screen?

There are too many questions not answered for me to decide if this is a clear indication for all iPod users.
