So what is the Internet? How is it structured? What networks are developing? With the popularity of online social/community sites, there is a large network of social sites appearing on the Internet.
When it comes to video and photo sharing sites, again we see a massive growth continually with the number of these sites appearing online.
A friend of mine past me on a “Web Trend Map”, which was completed by iA (Information Architects). The map gives you a good idea of how sites on the Internet are connected and the categories they fall under. The link is below.
So what is next for the Internet? Will it be TV Networks, which are purely online? There are a number of these already, but the question is will and when will it take off?
