Seven has announced it will be offering TiVo systems in 2008.
Nothing further has been said in regards to the pricing and specs of the TiVo systems. Once these are released, we can then look into seeing if Seven are really making a step in the right direction. The price and specs will defiantly be the make or break factor to Seven’s success with these devices.
DVR are already available in Australia, as to how many houses have them, I’m not sure. TiVo goes one step further, not only allowing you to record multiple programs, but also capturing you viewing habits and recording program with your specific keywords.
The other interest I have is to how other networks will either work with or against Sevens move into a change in allowing viewers to alter their viewing habits.
