I spoke with Radio Sport in New Zealand about the potential around the introduction of Anti-syphoning Laws in New Zealand similar to those current in Australia. These focus on keeping “events of national interest”, which list currently only sports, on free to air television.
The introduction of such laws has been debated in New Zealand and the recent election has reignited discussion around the introduction of Sport Anti-syphoning Laws.
