YouTube has released an online video editing software. YouTube Remixer is powered by Adobe.
I had a go quickly at this and I must say it was pretty boring. I could only manage to add one graphic element, which had to be displayed for the entire video. I attempted to add music, but it seems there isn’t any in the library.
The dull grey inteface needs a lot of work to stand, represent the slick graphics we have seen by Google. Even the YouTube graphic was only black, although Adobe manage a coloured banner to be placed down the bottom.
It’s a step in the right direction, but I think a lot more thought and time could have gone in before it’s release.
I can’t see it adding much to any videos, but well see.
